Latco Ceramic Tile

While LATCO went out of business in February 2003, the old Nuance series is still available. The Japanese factory that made Nuance tiles still exists, and there are some colors available right now in the US, albeit under another name - SpecColori.

Bart Huffman, Latco's former President, still imports these tiles. I was Bart's East Coast rep for many years, and I still promote his tiles. Currently, Nuance Accents and Nuance Floor are available in some of the old colors, made to the same specifications by the same factory. SpecColori are incredibly beautiful, glazed porcelain 2-1/8"x2-1/8" mosaics. The color pallette includes 48 colors including 2 metallics, 36 gloss glazes and 12 coordinating satin floor glazes. And we offer a custom-mounting program. Any design may be precisely mesh-mounted on square foot sheets allowing for easy installation. Surface and radius trims offer infinite combinations to create unique environments.
