 | Select Music CDs for retail showrooms, work and study environmentsWhy are we offering Music CD's?; Research has long indicated that Baroque music, in precise tempos, keys and textures, is balanced both vibrationally and instrumentally. Atmosphere is everything. Classical music goes a long way toward establishing atmosphere, adds to the total experience, like the smell of spiced candles in a country store. Even New York's Penn Station has switched to playing classical music, in what is otherwise a hectic environment. And Baroque music is the best at creating that atmosphere, while reducing stress. Many types of music promise stress reduction. Oftentimes, they become tiresome due to their artificially synthesized sounds, lack of melody, and lack of structure. Baroque music has stood the test of hundreds of years as the finest, most enduringly pleasurable and relaxing form of music. But what music to play. Not all of us are classical music experts. To solve that problem, I am now offering a few pre-selected CD's for sale. A unique set of CDs for both the beginning and end of every day, to reduce the stress of entering and exiting the work environment; "Health & Wellness Collection" - a two volume set. Available at $29.95 for the complete 2 CD's.Over 50 Baroque pieces carefully selected for volume and tempo, to enhance any working or shopping environment, while reducing stress; "Relax with the Classics" - a four volume set. Available at $47.94 for the complete 4 CD's.Another recommendation is my own distant cousin, Thomas Linley (1756-1778), who was a friend of Mozart, a rival of Handel, and one of England's foremost composers. Had his life not been cut short by a freak boating accident at 22, who knows what he would have accomplished. Two different CD's of his music exist at $17.99 each.For more detailed info on all the CDs, see below;
HEALTH & WELLNESS COLLECTION A brand new collection of beautiful, stress reducing music. Compact Disc L601CD
Bach for the morning, Handel for the evening"Bach for the morning", starts your day very slowly and soothingly. Designed to prepare the listener for the demands of the day, it starts at a tempo of 50 beats per minute, and gradually increases to around 120 beats per minute. It will gently move you through the first hour of your day, incresing your energy level little by little so that by the end of the hour, you are in full swing. Particularly good for the drive in to work, or the first hour in the office. "Handel for the evening", is the mirror opposite. Beginning at quick tempo, which matches the end-of-the-day "speediness" we all experience, it gradually slows in tempo, moving your energy level and mood to a relaxed and calm state. Perfect for the drive home, or background music in the office at the end of a work day.
This is real, classical music, as originally written by the composers, and played on real, symphonic instruments.
