Space is still available for Congregation Fall Retreat.

Congregation Retreat to be held at Community of St John the Baptist (see photo). The Reverend Storm Swain will lead the retreat, which begins Friday evening, November 2 and continues through Sunday afternoon, November 4.

The retreat will be directed by the Reverend Storm Swain who will lead us in meditations on God: Earth Maker, Pain Bearer, Life Giver: a Trinitarian Approach to Caring for your Soul. We will stay in a guesthouse near the monastery, which is situated on 85 beautiful, wooded acres near Mendham New Jersey. A cook trained at the Culinary Institute of America will provide meals. There is room for up to 25 people in addition to the retreat leader. The fee for the weekend is $140 per person, which includes room and board. If you have never been on a retreat, please consider joining us! Retreats provide wonderful opportunities to rest and reflect in a comfortable, quiet setting, and to join together in community and worship. There will be periods of quiet time and occasions for long walks. You will also be welcome to join the Community at their daily offices and experience a more reflective way of worshipping God.
