20s/30s Connection changes name to Congregation
Connections
To reflect the fact that the group now invites adults of all ages to
participate, rather than just those in their 20s or 30s, we have
changed the name of the group. Instead of the 20s/30s Connection,
it is now called Congregation Connections. So, please spread the
word and let people know that adults of all ages are welcome!!!
Details on each event will come as each date gets
closer. As always, family and friends are always welcome at any
Congregation Connections event, and you can always email me (rpwildman@yahoo.com) for more information
on any event or the group. Blessings,Rachel

Last regular session of Children's Abbey before Summer
The Children's
Abbey will meet at 9 and 11 a.m. on June 7th, and then take
a break from regular classes until September. We don't
want you to forget us during the summer vacation time, so on-the-go,
family-oriented fun projects have been prepared and will
be e-mailed at the beginning of June, July, and August.
These mailings will offer families the opportunity to be worshipful
together in unique ways while on vacation or just relaxing from their
usual busy schedules. If you would like to receive these
e-mails, please contact Donna Devlin at: childrensabbey@saintsaviour.org
There is no charge for these e-mails and you do not need to be a
regular attendee of Children's Abbey to receive them. Sign up now or
at any time during the summer break. Have a safe and restful summer
and come back to worship and play at the Children's Abbey in September.

Pre General Convention meeting with our deputation
Our General
Convention deputation is planning several meetings around the Diocese
in preparation for the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in
Anaheim, CA in July. Part of the purpose of these meetings is to give
members of the Diocese an opportunity to share their concerns and
opinions on matters coming before the General Convention.
The meeting schedule at the
Cathedral is:
- 6:00 pm, Monday, June 15 - Donegan Hall
of Diocesan House
The meetings
are open, and anyone can come without notice. If you would like to

Please let me know if you have any
questions. Thanks.

The Congregation Mission
Statement
We are a family of Christians, drawn together by
a common mission:
"To build and
nurture an active Christian community; to support the mission of the
Cathedral; to offer opportunities for exploring and expressing
spirituality, affirming the diversities that exist among us; above all,
through worship, service, and example, to bear witness to Christ's
healing and reconciling love to neighbors, pilgrims, and visitors."
